With the nice Autumn leaves comes some rain :-(

Saturday 18th

Down Manly beach today with Holly, chasing the waves and watching the surfers... it was a relatively cold 13 degrees C, but the surfers had their "steamers" on (wet suits) so I guess only their feet would be cold... mines were baltic as we all chased each other along the waters edge running away from the incoming waves, much to Holly's giggly delight!

Sunday 19th

Took Holly out on her wee trike - she likes getting wheeled about fast!

Only major achievement for a Sunday, was to fit an extra rail in Holly's bedroom to take all the new clothes she got whilst over in the UK! I think she's got more clothes than we have put together!

Monday 20th

I suppose we can't complain, since its winter, but its been raining since Saturday night ! I had to drain water out the pool to stop it overflowing - never bargained on having to fit an overflow on it before now! One minute I'm topping it up to combat evaporation, and the next I'm tipping it down the drain again. Not exactly the biggest problem in the world, right enough.
